The Global Bond Market Risk Index (GBMRI) remained at a high risk reading. The GBMRI closed unchanged at 83%. Last week the GBMRI reached a level of 83% (high risk).

The regional bond market risk index for the US, Canada and Western Europe closed at a high risk of 100% - the highest reading since more than two years.

Global stock market risk increased to a medium risk level of 50%. Last week our flagship stock market risk index closed at a medium risk reading of 43%.


The regional stock market risk index for the US, Canada and Western Europe changed from a low to a medium risk reading of 49%. Last week this stock market risk index closed at a medium risk reading of 41%.


US stock markets closed mainly lower on Tuesday, even though the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index rose once again to a new record high. US stock market risk increased to a medium risk reading of 44%. Last week the US stock market risk index closed at 40% (medium risk). US tech stock risk rose to a medium risk reading of 44% (last week: 37%).

The Global US Dollar Risk Index (GUSDRI) remained at a low risk level. The GUSDRI closed at 38%. Last week the GUSDRI reached a low risk level of 27%.
